Like the Wind

I'm bringing Alex to his best friend's house for a sleepover.  Julia's with us.

The kids keep looking out the rear window at the cars behind us.

They call these "Evil Cars" which, apparently, are after us, even though we're all maintaining roughly the same 35-mile-an-hour speed limit posted for the area.

But still, the danger approaches, and Alex barks out an order:

"Mom!  Drive like you mean it!"

  1. LOL, sure wish that would have been something my kids said to me… the usually said something like “mom you’re not on the track anymore, slow down in the turns and you just cut that guy off.” My hobby when the kids were younger was racing Go-Karts the 65mph kind, not the ones at the Amusement Park.
