He's at an age where he sees a camera in my hand and almost instantly becomes a cartoon character instead of the sweet little boy I was going to take pictures of.
But I lucked out today.
Maybe it was because he was worn out from dirt biking with Bill.
Maybe it was because he was happily eating a piece of blueberry coffee cake I'd just made.
Who knows.
I don't question why.
I just take as many pictures as I can before the moment passes.
He seems so grown up in a few of these pictures… be careful Jayme, he’s going to be grown before you know it. I hope he never loses that willingness to mug for the camera for you.
I know – he is growing and maturing fast. I think thats why I take so many pictures – I know how fast the time is flying.
Oh, no! He has his tongue out! Do NOT let him devour Julia! She’s MINE!!!
Oh, I think he’d hand her right over to you in a heartbeat – he was expressing distaste at the horror that is a younger sister, when you’re a seven-year-old boy.
I definitely think it’s the age. Brianna gets the same way in front of a camera. (she’s 6 1/2) Gillian, on the other hand, it still at the stage where she insists on walking toward me as I’m trying to take pictures of her… =)
