It's actually Saturday as I type this, and it's going to be a relatively quick post (compared to my usual 50-image "norma"-sized posts) this time.
This week's recipe was chosen by Kait of Kait's Plate. Because I'm typing ahead of time, and it's not Tuesday yet, Kait doesn't have her post up, but if you're reading this now, on a Tuesday, she probably does, so if you want the recipe, she'll have it posted. Or you can look on page 68 of Dorie Greenspan's Baking: From My Home to Yours. You'll find it there for sure.
I doubled the recipe, by the way. I knew these would be a hit. And we didn't just keep them all for ourselves, mind you. We shared.
Oh, and the only change I made was the addition of a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon to the mixture. Oh, and I used the semi-sweet chips I had plus some leftover Hershey Kisses AND a bar of milk chocolate I found in the freezer. Word to the wise - don't hold the Hershey Kiss while you attempt to cut it. Just cut. It's not going to run away.
I don't really have a ton to say about these (or the time to say it) – they're just very, very easy and very, very good. Try some!
And you can check out what all the other Tuesdays with Dorie bakers did HERE.
omg… you have a MOUNTAIN of cookies there! wow, I love the sheer abundance. I made mine with white chocolate and orange zest – creamsicle cookies!
I’m gonna be making these in a little bit and posting them tomorrow.
Yours look wonderful.
Yum! Love all the additions you used. I thought these tasted good, but they were way too thin for my tastes. Yours look great!
Glad you liked these. 🙂 Good to know that the hershey kiss will not run away. 😉
